History- This CB450P is one of the rarest Honda motorcycles ever made, in 1966 Honda sent over 25 of these bikes to test them out in law enforcement. However, Harley's V-twin engine was much more preferred by law enforcement so until the CB 750 came a few years later. The 750 could almost compete with Harley's police motorcycle but that is why the 450 Police bike is so scarce. It is a fully restored bike with all the original parts, bells, and whistles. This 1968 Honda CB450P Police Bike is EXTREMELY rare in the United States because only 25 of them were sent here to be tried as a police bike to use in the force. it has an air-cooled, double overhead cam, parallel twin, 444cc engine with 5,897 original miles on it. This bike comes from Scottsbluff Nebraska and has a title in the seller's name. This is an antique motorcycle collector's dream bike. These rarely come to market so this may be your only chance to get one in this good shape!, VIN-CB450P-3012953, Odometer- 5,897 HAS TITLE
It's not often you run across collections like this! Jim Neuwirth was a pioneer in collecting early Japanese bikes, long before it was trendy! Nearly all of his motorcycles are in original untouched condition. His home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska provided a dry climate that helped preserve these rust free bikes. He is only the second owner of the majority of his collection and he found them one at a time, in the wild, over decades of collecting. Please join us on the open house Saturday September 7th 10am - 3pm at our facility in Nokomis, IL or stop in anytime during the week at our showroom to take a look!
